Together again

I'm not exaggerating when I tell you Luke asked me 82 times yesterday, "How much longer until we see Daddy?"  Not that I blame him–I was counting down the hours for days.  Aaron's plane wasn't scheduled to arrive until 11:32pm, so the plan was to take a nap before we left for the airport.  Titus passed out quickly at 7pm, but poor Luke was too excited to sleep.  So we counted down the hours until we left for the airport and then the minutes until we saw Aaron.  Titus kept us laughing as we tried to explain that we weren't going to "Hoo-bek-isan" yet, but Daddy was coming to us.  At long last, we spotted Aaron's bright orange shirt coming through the last security gate...we all shrieked and ran to greet him…he didn't make it past the gate before the boys jumped in his arms crying and laughing at the same time.  We made sure to bring Sour Patch Kids and Hershey Kisses with us to the airport and Titus was pretty excited to share with Daddy.  "He's generous," he told me, assuring himself that Daddy would surely grant him a few pieces.  He wasn't disappointed…Aaron is generous and the first Hershey Kiss was quickly devoured by a little boy with blue eyes shining at his Dad.  We were thankful he was home, his flight into Chicago was late and he missed his original flight.  One last seat was found into Denver by a United employee I would love to hug, and he made his connecting flight into Bozeman.  After 32 hours of traveling, we were finally together again.
